Announcing Jeongsoo Lim’s Exhibition “Bomb,Boom,Vuum.”

We are happy to announce Bomb,Boom,Vuum., an exhibition by Jeongsoo Lim, as a result of her activity during her stay at Studio Kura.

Jeongsoo Lim is specialized in installation with the deconstruction and recombination of images based in Seoul, South Korea.
She completed her Bachelor of Arts in visual arts at Korea National University of Arts, Seoul, and currently taking her Master of Fine Arts at the university. Her works have been presented at her solo exhibitions as well as group exhibitions in Seoul. The artist also has some experiences in creative collaboration projects as a design/ art director.
Keywords of her works are repeat & variation / rule & improvisation / each & overlap.
Lim is interested in ‘Irregularities’ in continuously changing conditions, focusing on the fragmented manner of life.

I’m interested in the architectural and spatial state in the industrial environment.
Method of display the goods, elements of the living environment, building structures that make up the city.
This landscape shows the attitude towards space as a commodity.
Even if something is now full of residential environment, there is emptiness.
I shape the scene such as installation work.

* We will hold an opening party on Saturday the 27th, starting at 15:00.
* Exhibitions by other 2 artists will be held during the same exhibition period.
* There is a stone tower workshop for kids at 13:30 on the 27th (booking required, the details will be posted soon).
