Announcing Emilie Lang’s Exhibition “Landscape Geometry”

We are happy to announce Landscape Geometry, an exhibition by Emilie Lang, as a result of her activity during her stay at Studio Kura.

Emilie Lang is a self-taught visual artist based in Adelaide Australia. She paints landscapes with acrylic. She attended artist residency at Reykjavick Iceland in 2015. She started drawing in her diary when she was child, started painting in 2013.
In her work, she converts the visual perception of landscapes and its colour both in motion and at rest . The resulting of imagery become a form of abstract.

Inspired by the lush green fields in Itoshima, my paintings are created with geometric lines and shapes using a summer palette.

Date: June 25 (Saturday) & 26 (Sunday), 11:00 to 19:00, free entrance
* We will hold an artist talk and opening party on Saturday the 25th, starting at 15:30.
* Exhibitions by other 6 artists (Betty Susiarjo, Vieno James, Alexander James Romero, Zac Grenfell, Ruby Silvious, Ashley Yeo Yakka) will be held during the same exhibition period.
