Kat Teede (Australia) Residence: March 2017
Kat Teede is a Melbourne, Australia based multidisciplinary artist working across drawing, collage, photography, photo-painting, text and installation. Kat is currently completing a Masters of Fine Art (MFA), RMIT, Melbourne.
Kat’s practice is informed by the physical and psychological spaces that we inhabit and embed ourselves.
For her residency at Studio Kura, Kat will extend her research into psychological readings of the built environment. Responses to Itoshima’s built spaces and the natural environment in which they are located will be realised in ink and watercolour based works on paper. Photography and collage will form preparatory works.
