Hi! This is Ale.
3D printers, laser cutters, CNC milling machines and such self fabrication machines have become commonplace in many teaching and art facilities. We’ve had the CNC miller and the laser cutter for some time, and we just got a 3D printer.
We are excited at the possibilities for art of all this hardware, and would like all artists interested to have the chance to try them. If you have an idea for your project that involves these machines, please tell us about it and we will try to help make it happen. It was great when Beck Wheeler digitally designed a wood doll and made a lot of them using the laser cutter, and we hope to keep seing the machines used for creative work.
