We are pleased to announce an exhibition 人間 human beings by Joycelyn Ong, as a result of her activity during her stay at Studio Kura on April 22 (Sat) & 23 (Sun).
Joycelyn Ong is a digital illustrator from Singapore. She specialises in fantasy illustrations with diplomas in animation fields. Inspired by reading storybooks & watching cartoons from a young age has fueled her love of storytelling through pictures. She enrolled in 3Dsense media school to further her knowledge and understandings, and that was where she was selected for the 3dsense-Kura Artistic Residency Award.
Here are some words from the artist herself.
Complex feelings, Choices, Turmoils are all but parts and parcel of this vicious cycle we called Life. We fight, we wish, we seek and that is what defines us as human beings.
