Studio Kuraでは、オーストラリア出身でメルボル在住のアーティストKirsten MacKenzieによる滞在制作発表展”Land and See”を開催します！Kirsten が1ヶ月の滞在期間中に制作した作品を展示します。入場料は無料です。
開催日時は7月27日（土）と28日（日）の11:00から17:00まで（27日（土）14:30よりアーティストトークを行います）。ぜひこの機会にお越しください。
彼女はStudio Kuraでの1ヶ月間の滞在中、糸島の風景にインスパイアされ、サイアノタイプ、コラージュ、ステッチを用いて創作に取り組みました。また、様々な視覚的アプローチを試みました。
「Land and See」というタイトルは、キルステンの風景に対する愛情と、常に新しい可能性に対してオープンで好奇心を持ち続けたいという彼女の願いを表しています。
Kirsten MacKenzie is a visual artist living and working in Melbourne, Australia.
Her one-month residency at Studio Kura allowed her to take time to create
using cyanotype, collage and stitch, inspired by the surroundings of Itoshima
and to experiment with different visual approaches.
The title ‘Land and See’ refers to Kirsten’s love of landscapes, and her desire to
always be open and curious to new possibilities.
