Irene Anglada is an artist and designer who works and lives in Barcelona. Her work questions the current relation between society, nature, and the importance of ecological practices. She investigates new techniques and materials as well as reinterpretes the tradicional ones. Her projects are often user centered.
Irene creates narratives and researches cultural and artistic patterns through drawing, the creation of spaces, artifacts and performative displays.
Her project at Studio Kura is a pictoric analysis on the intersecting elements between traditional japanese and catalan modernist architecture.
