私の作品は主にテキスタイルを扱っています。布、紐、拾ったオブジェクトに、天然染料、鉱物顔料、植物プリント、シアノタイプを用いて制作しています。素材の質感を大切にし、布に記憶を呼び起こすような作品を作ることを目指しています。私の作品は、まるで遺物や残骸のような風合いを持つことを意識しています。
滞在制作中は、編み物や紙張り細工（パピエ・マシェ）などの技法を用いて、紙を彫刻的な素材として探求します。また、日本における和紙布（紙布）の発展とその用途についてのリサーチも続けていきます。
Studio Kuraでの展示に向けて、新しい技術を学び、経験を深める機会を得られることをとても楽しみにしています。

My work is primarily with textiles. I use natural dyes, mineral pigments, botanical printing and cyanotypes on cloth, bindings and found objects. I appreciate the texture of the materials I use. I like to invoke memories on cloth and make pieces that look like artifacts, remnants and debris.
During my residency i will explore paper as a sculptural material using knitting, papier-mâché and other techniques. I will also continue to research the development and uses of paper cloth in Japan.
I am excited to be able to expand skills and experience in preparing for the Studio Kura exhibit.
