ダービーシャーで育ち、主にロンドンを拠点に活動するホリーは、旅と執筆という二つの大きな情熱を融合させています。スペインの JOYA:AiR で作家として滞在した経験があり、最近はテック系スタートアップを舞台にしたアイロニックな恋愛ドラマの2作目の小説を完成させました。現在は、3作目の執筆に向けて新たなインスピレーションを探しています。
Holly Friend is a writer and researcher from the UK. She makes sense of the world through identifying trends and narratives, which she explores through her fiction, as well as her day job as a cultural strategist. Previously working as a trend forecaster for The Future Laboratory and researcher for SPACE10, Holly is now a freelance consultant, working with brands such as Bumble, Nike, and Audible.
Raised in Derbyshire and based mostly in London, Holly now combines two of her two greatest loves: travel and writing. She has been a writer-in-residence at JOYA:AiR in Spain. Recently, she finished her second novel – an ironic romantic drama set in a tech start-up – and she hopes to find inspiration for her third.
