こんにちは。私はアメリカ、ニューヨーク市出身の画家、Amir James（アミール・ジェームズ・スミス）と申します。私の作品は旅や日々の体験を基盤としており、人生のある瞬間や感情を捉え、それを観る人へ伝えることを目指しています。訪れる土地ごとに作品の表情が変わるのも特徴です。
スタジオ・クラでの滞在中は、日本の田園風景を全身で吸収し、そこで得たインスピレーションを一連のアートワークに反映させる予定です。日本という国に強く心を動かされており、この貴重な機会に参加できることを心から嬉しく思っています。
Hello my name is Amir James smith from New York City USA I am an painter and my art is based upon my travels and day to day lived experience in my art I try to capture a feeling or a moment in my life and transmit that feeling onto others my art is often shaped by different places I travel to as well and so during my stay at studio Kura will be I will absorbing the Japanese countryside and implementing everything I see into a series of artworks. I’m very inspired by Japan and I’m very happy for the opportunity to participate.
