私の作品は、私たちの身体の表象と〈自分—他者—自然〉のつながりを探求するものです。ひと目には繊細に映りますが、その奥では、より深く自らの親密さやアイデンティティへと踏み込む体験を提案したいと考えています。鮮やかな色彩を用いるのは、鑑賞者に感情や感覚を喚起してもらうためです。また、生命力と厚みを備えたアクリル絵具という素材を選ぶのも意図的で、多層的な読み取りを可能にしてくれる媒体だからです。
My art explores the representation of our body and the relationship between ourselves, others, and nature. At first sight, they seem delicate, but I want to propose a deeper experience into our own intimacy and our own identity. I like working with vibrant color so that the audience can feel some emotion and sensation. Working with a material like acrylic painting is a deliberate choice as it’s a medium that’s very alive and thick, which allows different levels of comprehension.
