Studio Kuraでの滞在中に制作されたUlrike Schildの新作絵画は、断片化された人物像や、移り変わる集団の関係性を通して、人と人とのつながりを探求しています。自然や風景のような空間は、現実的な背景としてではなく、感情を映し出す環境として機能しています。

アクリル、木炭、オイルパステルを用いながら、Schildは具象と抽象の要素を組み合わせ、親密さや人間関係の緊張感を見つめています。これらの絵画は、固定された物語を描くのではなく、人々のあいだに生まれる近さ、居心地の悪さ、軽やかさ、そして距離の瞬間を捉えています。

Created during her residency at Studio Kura, these new paintings by Ulrike Schild explore human connection through fragmented figures and shifting group dynamics. Nature and landscape-like spaces function as emotional environments rather than realistic settings.

Using acrylic, charcoal, and oil pastel, Schild combines figurative and abstract elements to examine intimacy and interpersonal tension. Rather than portraying fixed narratives, the paintings capture moments of closeness, discomfort, lightness, and distance between people.
