ナミ・ヴィアナ（Nami Vianna）は、ブラジル・ベロオリゾンテを拠点に活動する、日系ブラジル人三世のアーティストであり、美術教育者です。
イラストレーションやコミックを主な表現分野とし、**ミナスジェライス連邦大学（UFMG）およびカーザ・ドス・クアドリーニョス（Casa dos Quadrinhos）**で学び、美術と美術教育の学位を取得しました。
この10年間は、親しみやすく愛らしいイラストレーションや、自身の体験をもとにした自伝的なジン（自主制作冊子）の制作に取り組むとともに、地域コミュニティにおける創造性を育む活動にも力を注いでいます。
Studio Kuraでの滞在制作では、1940年代に日本からブラジルへ移住した自身の家族の歴史に焦点を当て、その移民の記憶やルーツをたどるプロジェクトに取り組む予定です。
Nami Vianna is a third generation brazilian-japanese artist and art teacher, based in Belo Horizonte, Brasil.
With a focus on illustrations and comic books, she’s a graduate from both UFMG and Casa dos Quadrinhos, with degrees in visual arts and art teaching. For the past 10 years she has dedicated her life to making cutesy illustrations, autobiographical fanzines and fomenting creativity within her community. During her stay in Kura Studio, she`ll be working on a project focusing on her family’s immigration from Japan to Brazil in the 1940s.
