Eric Xue (@ericj.x) is a maker and metal fabricator based in Brooklyn, New York. Creating functional and non functional objects, his practice is driven by a search for balance between technique, structure, and the primordial essence of matter. A diasporic background informs his work with considerations of cultural authenticity and social implications of material within public realms. During the residency, he aims to hone nonindustrial methodologies, while working with new mediums.
