LACOURT was born in France, in the Garonne valley.
Circles, the Circle, many Circles invade her, encircle her, overtaking the surface of the paper.
Life, Death, Unity, the Soul of the World are omnipresent in her Drawings.
She studied nude drawing and painting at the Beaux Arts in Paris, mastering form and geometry in space. Lines short-circuit her circles.
Next she traveled and lived in Africa. After several crossings of the Desert, she went to Israel to live in a kibbutz in the desert of Neguev. In all her journeys in Europe, Asia, America, Africa, Human Beings are her interest, her Passion, her Obsession. She runs after the Infinite which attracts her and inspires her beyond reality.
Departure for Easter Island in 1992. During her three years in Rapa Nui /Easter Island, she mixed the sand of Anakena into acrylic paint to achieve her Tangata Manu /Men Bird on canvas.
In 2011, Rapa Nui call her back, she staid there until June 2015, after Peru, Selva Amazonica.
After all, she was unable to live without the Pacific Ocean, Japan the country where the sun AMATERASU omi kami is coming first was on his way calling her.
In Studio Kura, she will take time to be nearest the sun / exploring the existence of the suns… how many ? one? two? three ?
