Stephen Cooney is an interdisciplinary artist with an interest for merging classical concepts of image-making with contemporary/commercial methods of production.
His experience is rooted in content creation for entertainment media, however in recent years he has come to a new practice–figurative art.
At Studio Kura, he will produce a number of figurative and design-centric works. These are disparate in style but inform a greater understanding of the two worlds he desires to combine.
