Wang Min (China) Residency: August to September, 2015
Wang Min is a Chinese artist based in Beijing. She got her bachelor’s degree at Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, and then her master’s degree in Fine Arts at University of Fine Arts of Hamburg (Germany). Her work has been shown in China, Germany and Korea.
The ordinary objects and scenes in Wang’s paintings are implying the time already slipping away and the things long being lost. Thanks to the attention of this female artist, or her “revere to ordinary things”, these objects can linger for long.
