He comes from an academic background in Cinema and pHotography. He studied at Lisbon Theatre and Film School, specializing in cinematography. And at the Faculty of Social and Human Science of Nova University in Lisbon, in tis Postgraduate Course in Visual Studies -Photography and (Post) cinema.
He also works as a freelancer in the cinema industry in Portugal, mainly in the camera and lighting department. His work resides in the commonplace between the still and the moving image. And how, when exploring motion and its perception as time, the stipulated structures for the corresponding mediums, Cinema and Photography, can become ambiguous.
