Announcing Kit Khong’s Exhibition “Harmony”

We are pleased to announce an exhibition Harmony by Kit Khong on November 25 (Saturday) & 26 (Sun), as a result of her activity during her stay at Studio Kura.

Kit Khong is a digital artist in commercial and broadcast animation which comprises various art form such as graphic design, typography, character design, illustration, and photography. She completed her Bachelor of Film and Animation from Multimedia University in Kuala Lumpur in 2009. From then, she has been working as a motion designer in Commercial and Broadcast Post Production Studio.
Kit enjoys observing the daily surroundings and imagine putting them into a more interesting setting. She believes a fresher presentation will rehabilitate our sense of appreciation of the surroundings, allow people to slow down a little.

Here are some words from the artist herself.

During my one month stay with Studio Kura, I am fascinated by the wide landscapes, old shops and houses around the area. Every subjects coexist with each other and the motherland.

* We will hold an exhibition opening party and an artist talk on 25th (Sat), starting at 15:30.
* The exhibitions by other current residence artists will be also held on the same dates.

Kit is a digital artist in commercial and broadcast animation which comprises various art form such as graphic design, typography, character design, illustration, and photography. During her residency period, she is going to explore the surroundings and present it through a different point of view by combining both photography and digital painting. The project will be driven by the curiosity of how different perspective see the world.

Kit participated in the artist in residency program at Studio Kura in November 2017.
