Katrin Ahlgren works across academic and artistic fields, tracing the ideological, ethical, embodied and aesthetic resonances of language. Through projects in Stockholm, Madrid and Paris, she explores narratives of lived experiences shaped by displacement and multilingual creativity. Her practice employs arts-based methods, including drawing, photography, drama and poetics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

An earlier project unfolded through semiotic landscapes \u2013 texts and traces of human presence encountered across urban and natural terrains. At Studio Kura, she continues to document these landscapes through photography. At the same time, her work turns to prints on thrifted linen, watercolours and embroidery made with recycled threads, as a way to delve into origins and disjointed dreams, and to visualise layered interpretation.
