Today we worked on laying a new kitchen floor in House 2.
\nThe old floor had softened over the years and felt like it might give way at any moment, so we laid thick cedar boards over the top.
\nThe sense of stability underfoot and the character of the wood are both wonderful\u2014better than we imagined.
\nI honestly feel like I could live here now.<\/p>\n
