Her recent research has focussed on travel and how we make connections and communicate through<br \/>\nshared experiences.Travelling to Japan a number of times since 2008, she has become very interested in the Japanese concept of \u2018wabi sabi\u2019. <\/p>\n<p>Here are some words from the artist herself.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The work for this exhibition has been made in response to the natural environment around Studio Kura. I  ride to the beach each day and watch the fishermen patiently wait while the tide moves in and out. Later I walk through liitle roads beside rice paddies to photograph clouds race across the sky.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Exhibitions by other current artists will be also held.
