It was such a lovely day, perfect time for celebrating spring season!<br \/>\n<script async=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block; text-align:center;\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-3945585447168615\" data-ad-slot=\"5263082462\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script><br \/>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});<br \/>\n<\/script><br \/>\n<img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm2.staticflickr.com\/1520\/25857801172_97788b6f5a_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" alt=\"DSC_3870\"><br \/>\nOur current residence artists, Amjad Akash, Tara Benjamin-Morgan, Kate Gorrie and Park Hyun Ji also attended and helped this event, to give joyful workshops and great works specially for this event!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm2.staticflickr.com\/1643\/25978344075_5cbe7ff7a2_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"428\" alt=\"DSC_3807\"><br \/>\nAs we run kids art classes, Studio Kura produced an art installation showing kids&#8217; sculptural works at the approach to the main shrine.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm2.staticflickr.com\/1508\/25952067896_5a88ec688c_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"428\" alt=\"DSC_3761\"><br \/>\nPark Hyun Ji from South Korea presented two unique workshops. She gave Brain stickers to visitors asking to write their current feeling and  wishes and to attach on the Brain made of Itoshima phanbphlet. It was fun to know their feelings and to communicate with!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm2.staticflickr.com\/1574\/25952630466_b4ed66687f_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"428\" alt=\"DSC_3843\"><br \/>\nThen, she presented this big brain shared with others in the forest.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm2.staticflickr.com\/1515\/25349258893_8a6a4fd6cf_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"428\" alt=\"DSC_3773\"><br \/>\nKids drawing some birds on the scroll printed paintings. Hyun Ji made other 3 different backgrounds to be able to select other situations for kids.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm2.staticflickr.com\/1551\/25678138400_cf092b634e_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"428\" alt=\"DSC_3875\"><br \/>\nKate Gorrie from Australia and Tara Benjamin-Morgan from UK had colouring workshop for Kids.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm2.staticflickr.com\/1577\/25953412176_201a340ca7_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" alt=\"DSC_3778\"><br \/>\nKids are so fascinated on that and tried 2-3 different colourings!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm2.staticflickr.com\/1632\/25978717595_939a3ea5b0_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"428\" alt=\"DSC_3878\"><br \/>\nThe board to show kids finished colourings. Over 20 kids joined this simple but fun workshop!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm2.staticflickr.com\/1555\/25857671712_3cf36055c6_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"428\" alt=\"DSC_3820\"><br \/>\nKate showed bamboo installations. She found interesting that most of people tried to make a sound by swinging them.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm2.staticflickr.com\/1459\/25883558581_686bee63a5_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"428\" alt=\"DSC_3836\"><br \/>\nTara exhibited a collection of colourful cute mushrooms on the ground. This playful pieces gave extra surprise to people, lots of them took a picture of it!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm2.staticflickr.com\/1519\/25952819796_3304c9b4b3_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"428\" alt=\"DSC_3887\"><br \/>\nAmjad Akash from Bangladesh also tied his installation piece. He normally works on painting, but this was great opportunity for him to make an installation and show it outside.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm2.staticflickr.com\/1472\/25349617653_62b6e09fc8_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"428\" alt=\"DSC_3814\"><br \/>\nAdorable kids with their works.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm2.staticflickr.com\/1441\/25345735154_675b3f554c_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"428\" alt=\"DSC_3830\"><br \/>\nWe could receive very positive reaction from kids, their parents and visitors!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm2.staticflickr.com\/1658\/25857725822_1d53638145_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"428\" alt=\"DSC_3847\"><br \/>\nSome kids made imaginary animal pieces.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm2.staticflickr.com\/1670\/25857550722_671f30e561_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"428\" alt=\"DSC_3809\"><br \/>\nThis seems they are walking in single file.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm2.staticflickr.com\/1659\/25978097375_a167584561_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"428\" alt=\"DSC_3794\"><br \/>\nA large number of people visited this festival.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm2.staticflickr.com\/1598\/25345931994_3a11ca6690_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"428\" alt=\"DSC_3867\"><br \/>\nThere are many street stalls, artists could enjoy many Japanese food.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm2.staticflickr.com\/1597\/25857834222_a645d23174_z.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"428\" alt=\"DSC_3862\"><br \/>\nTalk shows, music and dance live shows enhanced the atmosphere of the festival, too!<\/p>\n<p>Thank you very much for visitors,  festival staffs, kids and artists!<br \/>\n<script async=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block; text-align:center;\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-3945585447168615\" data-ad-slot=\"5263082462\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script><br \/>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});<br \/>\n<\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The weather in Itoshima is getting warmer and more sunny these days!
