He doesn\u2019t pre-visualize his images, but rather finds them through the process of wandering. Landscapes, architecture, and lost and lonely objects often inspire him. He seeks to capture the essence, or soul, of his subjects, and tries to steer clear of romantic clich\u00e9s and show local flavour without compromising his subjects to cultural stereotypes.<br \/>\nHis process is intuitive in nature, and his work is a reflection of self in response to place.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Here are some words from the artist himself.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>When I leave the house there is no agenda, and I don\u2019t visualise photographs in advance of taking them. The destination is one of discovery, and both reveal one\u2019s self, and the soul of the place, in the process of wandering. My process was inspired by a quote from J.R.R. Tolkien where he said, \u201cNot all those who wander are lost.\u201d.
