Zo\u00eb is a designer and maker based in London, UK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her work draws inspiration from traditional folk clothing and craft techniques to imagine wearable art pieces and textiles. Focusing on cloth and stitch, Zo\u00eb explores narratives, heritage and material culture creating work that’s predominantly process-led, using traditional and historic hand-dyeing and hand-stitching techniques to create wearable pieces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More recently she has been inspired to work on functional and adaptable designs creating clothing that has the ability to shape-shift and transform – exploring how garments can be made to be adjusted, fitting a variety of shapes as the wearer transforms and evolves through different stages in their life. Conscious of sustainability and mindful making process, Zo\u00eb seeks to challenge the fashion industry and broader consumerism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2023 she was awarded the Make It Award at Cockpit Arts in Bloomsbury, London where she is currently based.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
