Yolande Mutale is an illustrator and printmaker based in London, UK. She holds a BA in Graphic Communication Design from Central Saint Martins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her personal practice often explores the social dynamics surrounding her cultural identity. Combining figurative imagery, bold colours and hand-drawn typography to communicate a more serious message. Printmaking techniques often being used as a vehicle to project a message of celebration or discontent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inspired heavily by travel, music, and urban environments, her work depicts a humorous animated world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her clients as an illustrator include The New York Times, Nike, Penguin, Uniqlo, The Tate Modern and the Eames Institute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
