“I’m a visual artist from the North of Ireland, currently based in Belfast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I create works predominantly through the medium of installation and smaller 3D works using light as a medium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My work is fuelled by the awareness of climate crisis and modern-day societies growing disconnection from nature. As well as moments of beauty that often go overlooked or underappreciated. When people feel little to no connection with the natural world it becomes easier to destruct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a background in printmaking my attention is often grasped by qualities of alignment and layering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I tend to work in monochrome, due to my love for stark contrast, and quiet drama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have always had a fascination with the overlooked, underappreciated aspects of nature. Fleeting moments that are often missed, namely those which involve light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have been intrigued with making works based on the phenomenon of perception, what is real or fabricated, how people perceive their surroundings, and what they consider to be worthy or not worthy of their time\/appreciation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
