In my work, I move with my art in the field of critical observation of the Anthropocene, the man-made age, and in particular the analysis of our present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I create a scenario of the future in which the remains of our civilization are found. If we try to imagine past human ages through grave finds and decorations of ceramic shards, what would the future conclude about us from cell phones, sneakers or fidget spinners that have become fossils?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have been working in the field of ceramics since 2013, when I started to cast industrial objects in clay. Several iconic generations of technological achievements from 1990 onwards, from the brick-sized cell phones to the soap-shaped smartphones, have thus become fossils of the future, preserved for eternity. Artistically, I question the \u201cbrave new\u201d digital world, but at the same time try to bring the topics dealt with there and their independent aesthetics back to the \u201cIRL\u201d, the real and above all haptic life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2020 and the start of the pandemic, I have intensified my work in the field of ceramics. I have started to work with archaic forms such as drinking vessels. The bowl is probably one of the first man-made objects and therefore a particularly good object of study for my working method.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
