kYra Storm van Leeuwen is an artist based in Amsterdam. She has presented her outer-disciplinary work in many different places in the world. She likes to reverse people’s assumptions in her work. We make assumptions about the outcome of our actions before doing anything. She sends different signals to our assumptions through her work. When we meet unknown circumtances for the first time is when we first feel our unconsciousness.
She showed the her work at Studio Kura from the 8th to the 12th of July, in her exhibition Studies in Serial Beauty. Culture.and the Quantative System. Many of the attendants tried their best at typing on an asymmetric keyboard, alienated but amused.
