Bree Stallings（ブリー・スターリングス）は、ノースカロライナ出身のマルチメディア・アーティスト、壁画家、作家、そしてアクティビストです。
2017年には「The Arts Empowerment Project」より Outstanding Leader In The Arts Award を、2018年にはクイーンズ大学シャーロット校より GOLD Alumni Award を受賞しました。
2019年の個展「Where I’m From」は Queen City Nerve によって「年間最優秀アートショー」に選ばれ、2020年の個展「To Be Seen And Celebrated」では135点の絵画を販売し、その収益を彼女が立ち上げたブルックヒル・ビレッジの住民へ眼科検診と矯正レンズを提供するための基金 “Brookhill Village Vision Fund” に寄付しました。
また最近、ユナイテッド・ウェイとの協働でガストン郡最大規模の壁画プロジェクト「Flourish」を完成させ、Arts + Science Council から文化ビジョングラントを受け、Time Out Youth とともにコミュニティ壁画プロジェクト「Holding Space」を実施しました。
彼女は Queen City Nerve の読者投票で3度「Best Muralist」に選ばれ、さらに「Best New Hire」にも選ばれています。
2022年にはアイルランド・ケリー州リストーウェルの Olive Stack Gallery にてアーティスト・イン・レジデンスを務め、2023年にはフランス・オルクヴォーの Château d’Orquevaux にてレジデンスに参加しました。
現在はブロメンソール・パフォーミングアーツの “Director of Artistic Experiences（芸術体験ディレクター）” として、Charlotte International Arts Festival や Blume Studios などを通じ、数百万ドル規模のアートプロジェクトのキュレーションおよび運営を担当しています。
Bree Stallings is a North Carolina-native multi-media artist, muralist, writer and activist.
She is the 2017 Outstanding Leader In The Arts Award Winner from The Arts Empowerment Project and the 2018 GOLD Alumni Award Winner from Queens University of Charlotte.
Her 2019 solo exhibition “Where I’m From” won “Best Art Show of the Year” by Queen City Nerve and her 2020 solo exhibition “To Be Seen And Celebrated” sold 135 paintings to benefit the Brookhill Village Vision Fund, an initiative she began to give eye exams and corrective lenses to the neighbors of Brookhill Village.
She also recently wrapped up Gaston County’s largest mural project called “Flourish” in partnership with the United Way and was awarded a Cultural Vision Grant from the Arts + Science Council to complete a community mural project called “Holding Space” with Time Out Youth.
She is a three-time “Best Muralist” and a recent “Best New Hire” as voted by her peers in Queen City Nerve. In 2022, she was the Artist in Residence at Olive Stack Gallery in Listowel, County Kerry, Ireland and in 2023 she was an Artist in Residence at Chateau d’Orquevaux in Orquevaux, France. Currently, she serves as the Director of Artistic Experiences for Blumenthal Performing Arts, where she oversees the curation and deployment of millions of dollars through the Charlotte International Arts Festival, Blume Studios and more.
