ルス・ロペス・ダビシノ（1993年、アルゼンチン・コルドバ生まれ）は、絵画と版画を中心に活動するアーティストです。美術とデザインを学び、2022年に旅を始めてイタリアへ移住。そこで制作を続ける中で、移動、旅、そして「移民」という経験が、どのように芸術と結びつき、作品へ影響を与えるのかを探求し始めました。
その後、ヨーロッパ各国を自転車で旅するという挑戦に踏み出し、風景や訪れた土地を記録しながら、彼女の作品はさらに変化していきました。
「場所は私たちをどのように変えるのか」「移動はどのように自己理解の一形態となるのか」──彼女の関心は常にその問いへと向けられています。
彼女は透明な支持体を用い、絵画が周囲の環境と対話できるようにし、絵画と風景の境界を曖昧にします。現実と想像が筆跡の中で溶け合い、ひとつひとつの作品は“旅の途中で切り取られた一瞬”のように、時間の層を留めています。また、写真の技法や視覚的な素材も取り入れ、新しい視覚体験を探求しています。
ときに彼女の絵画は宙に浮かんでいるようにも見え、まるで“新しい浮遊世界の一場面”のようだと彼女自身は語ります。
11月には武雄のARTS ITOYAで滞在制作を行い、地元の都市風景や典型的な「温泉」文化から大きなインスピレーションを受けました。滞在中に生まれた新しいキャラクターたちは、これらの風景の中に静かに生きています。

Luz López Davicino was born in 1993 in Córdoba, Argentina. She is an artist passionate about painting and printmaking. She studied Fine Arts and Design. In 2022, she began traveling, moved to Italy, and started working on a series of paintings, exploring movement, travel, and the experience of migration, connected to art.
After a while, she embarked on a bicycle trip through different European countries, and with it, her work continued to transform, recording the landscape and the new places she traveled to.
She explores how places transform us and how movement becomes a form of self-knowledge.
He uses transparent supports, which allow the painting to dialogue with its surroundings, blurring the boundaries between painting and landscape. The real and the imagined intertwine in each brushstroke. Each work is a suspended moment, an echo of the path traveled. also uses photographic resources to record and investigate new visual sensations in his work.
Sometimes his paintings float, and he thinks they could be scenes from a new floating world.
She spent the month of November in Takeo in ArtsItoya, where she found a lot of inspiration in the local urban landscapes, in the typical “onsen” baths, and created new characters that inhabit these spaces.
