Ash Djokic is a cartoonist and experimental animator from Ngunnawal, residing in Magan-djin (Australia). They make comics traditionally with pencils, graphite, ink, trace papers, and wet media acetate. Ash also uses under-camera stop motion methods including sand animation, shadow puppetry, scratching/painting on 35mm film stock, flip books, and hand drawn animation. Ash is currently serialising a comic series called Nina, and developing a graphic novel called ネオン. Ash likes to tell cartoon stories that explore childhood, the line between dreams and reality, and the complexity of the human condition.
