Electra Peraki（エレクトラ・ペラキ）はギリシャ出身のビジュアルアーティストで、現在「写真・映像芸術（Photography and Audiovisual Arts）」の学位取得に向けた最終学年に在籍しています。
これまでデジタル写真、映像制作、アートディレクション、ポストプロダクションなど幅広い分野で活動しており、作品は Mykonos Biennale Film Festival でも紹介されました。
近年の制作では、より触覚的でアナログなアプローチへと関心を広げ、時間の流れや、光と空間がどのように人間の表情や存在を捉えるのかを探求しています。
彼女の作品はバルカン文化に深く根ざしており、ギリシャの伝統や故郷の荒々しくも美しい自然から強い影響を受けています。その影響は、シアノタイプ（青写真）技法を用いた制作にも表れており、繊細な質感のレイヤーと伝統的なモチーフを重ね合わせることで表現されています。
また、二重露光の手法を用いることで、「自己の保存」や「帰属意識」といったテーマが、過去と現在の境界を曖昧にしながら、遠い記憶のようにかすかに残るイメージとして立ち現れます。
Studio Kuraでの滞在では、日本の田園風景が持つ静かなエネルギーを実験的な視点から探りながら、異なる文化や風景、そして私たちが内に抱える記憶を結びつける普遍的な糸を見つけ出すことを目指しています。

Electra Peraki is visual artist from Greece currently in the last year of pursuing a degree in Photography and Audiovisual Arts.
While her background includes digital photography, film, art direction and post-production with work previously showcased at the Mykonos Biennale Film Festival.
Her recent practice has moved toward a more tactile, analog exploration of time and how light and space can capture human expression in different ways.
Her work is deeply rooted in Balkan culture, drawing inspiration from Greek traditions and the raw beauty of her home. This influence manifests in the use of the cyanotype process, layering delicate textures with traditional subjects.Through double exposures, self-preservation and belonging blur the lines between the past and the present, creating images that feel like a distant, faded memory.
At Studio Kura, she wants to explore how
the quiet energy of the Japanese countryside
is translated through an experimental lens, searching for the universal threads that connect different cultures, landscapes, and the memories we carry within them.
