Klara Stefanovicova（クララ・ステファノヴィチョヴァ）は、版画家でありイラストレーターです。
ビジュアルアーティストでありArtD（博士課程）候補でもある彼女の現在の研究は、版画という表現言語と、それが現代美術のディスコース（議論・文脈）の中で果たす役割を探るものです。
彼女は特に、版画がどのように概念的な思考と触覚的な感覚を結びつけることができるのか、そしてそれが完成された作品として存在するだけでなく、体験として公共とどのように関わることができるのかという点に関心を持っています。
この研究を通して、彼女は今日の版画がどのように用いられているのか、そして現代美術の中でどのような役割を担っているのかを探究しています。
彼女の作品において重要なテーマのひとつは**「境界」**です。
技法、素材、制作方法のあいだに存在する境界がどのように越えられ、拡張されていくのかを探ることが、彼女の制作の中心となっています。
Studio Kuraでのレジデンスでは、彼女は福岡という場所へ、物理的な意味だけでなく創造的な意味でも再び戻ることを望んでいます。
そして版画というメディウムを通して、この土地との継続的な対話を深めていきたいと考えています。
また彼女は、芸術研究としての視点、土地への感受性、そしてコミュニティへの開かれた姿勢を大切にしながら、福岡との関係性をさらに築いていくことを目指しています。
Klara Stefanovicova is a printmaker and illustrator.
As a visual artist and ArtD candidate, her current research explores the language of printmaking and its role within contemporary artistic discourse. She is particularly interested in how printmaking can bridge the conceptual and the tactile, and how it can exist in interaction with the public – not only as a finished object but as an experience.
Through her research, she looks at how printmaking is used today and what role it plays in contemporary art. What plays an important role in her work is the idea of boundaries – between techniques, materials, and ways of working – and how these can be crossed or expanded.
During the residency at Studio Kura, she hopes to return to Fukuoka, not only physically but also creatively, continuing an ongoing dialogue with the place through the medium of printmaking. She also aims to continue building a relationship with Fukuoka – one grounded in artistic research, sensitivity to place, and an openness to community.
