Studio Kuraでの滞在中は、新しい素材に挑戦し、これまでA4サイズで展開してきた作品を、より没入感のあるスケールへと拡張することを目指しています。
Lucy Levine is an illustrator from Los Angeles.
Her practice centers around digital art, works on paper, and the production of art-based goods. She has a passion for designing stationery and creating tangible products. Lucy draws strong influence from the fashion and tastes of the women in her circles, and has been inspired by her time in Japan by all the fashionable girls.
She enjoys illustrating women in their twenties, often adorned with cute animals, and whimsical elements.
During her residency at Studio Kura, Lucy aim to experiment with new materials and scale up her practice. Translating her typical A4-sized work into more immersive pieces.
