Magdalena Saliba is a mixed-media artist and writer from Chicago. Her practice spans from digital and alternative photographic processes to ceramics and interactive sculpture. Magdalena’s work focuses on sexual violence prevention and healing from complex trauma.
During her time at Studio Kura, Magdalena hopes to continue exploring how objects and images can create a universal language of healing and pain. She’s taken to the bugs that keep buzzing around her, as well as the miles of mountains and farmland that Studio Kura is tucked between! She hopes to use this natural beauty as fuel for her healing artwork.
