Paula Iglesias（パウラ・イグレシアス）は、故郷であるガリシアで写真とグラフィックデザインを学びました。
これまで長年にわたり、主にファッション業界でフォトグラファーとして活動する一方で、個人的なプロジェクトにも継続的に取り組んでいます。
彼女の写真は、日常の中に潜む美しさを見出し、それを抽象的かつ実験的な手法で提示し続ける探求のプロセスです。花のような身近な存在から、彼女のシリーズの中で繰り返し登場する月のような遥かな対象まで、幅広いモチーフを撮影しています。
自然と人間との関係性は、視覚的な詩の連なりとして表現され、両者は調和のとれた関係の中で、夢のような情景、柔らかな構図、一見すると平凡に見えるものの、深い親密さを湛えたシーンを形づくります。
彼女のすべてのシリーズは、日々の個人的な体験に基づいており、強い内面的な感情を伴う瞬間を捉えながら、思索や物語を語りかける作品となっています。
Paula Iglesias studied photography and graphic design in her native Galicia.
She has been working as a photographer for years, primarily in the fashion industry, but she also pursues her personal projects.
Her photography is a continuous quest to find the beauty in the everyday, presenting it in an abstract and experimental way. She ranges from things as familiar as a flower to photographing something as distant as the moon, one of her obsessions in some of her series.
Nature and its relationship with humankind are explored through a series of visual poems where both elements are in harmony, forming dreamlike scenes, soft compositions, and seemingly banal scenes imbued with great intimacy.
All her series are based on personal experiences from her daily life, capturing moments that carry a significant intimate charge and that, for the most part, tell reflections and stories.
