私は主に音楽的表現、サウンドアート、パフォーマンスを通して制作を行っています。制作方法は非常に幅広く、作品に取り組む際には実験性を重視しています。
私の芸術的インスピレーションは、土の匂い、夕暮れの移ろい、月の気配といった、とてもシンプルなものから生まれます。しかし、そうしたシンプルさの中には、存在そのものについての深い洞察が宿っていると感じています。
Studio Kuraでのレジデンシー期間中は、糸島および九州のより人里離れた地域の周辺環境から、フィールドレコーディングを収集することに焦点を当てます。本プロジェクトでは特に「夜」にまつわる音を中心に制作を進めていきます。
夜の営みや、そこに息づく音にフォーカスすることで、賑やかで肯定的なものの陰に隠れがちな、あまり知られていない静かで受動的な存在に光を当てたいと考えています。
こうして集めたフィールドレコーディングを基盤に、駅の音から、打ち寄せては引いていく波の音まで、さまざまな音の世界を重ね合わせ、この地域の夜の風景を描き出す作品を作曲・制作します。
このプロジェクトを通して生まれる新たな実験的アプローチに、今から大きな期待を寄せています。
I work mainly through musical expression, sound art and performance. My working methods are broad, and I like to emphasize experimentation while working on a piece. My artistic inspiration comes from very simple things like how the earth smells, how the dusk sets and how the moon feels, but which in its simplicity offers a deep insight on existence.
During my residency at Studio Kura I will focus on collecting field recordings from the surroundings of Itoshima and other remote areas of Kyūshū. In the project I will mainly work with sounds related to night time. By focusing on night life and the sounds it inhabits, I want to draw attention to the less known and passive from the loud and positive.
With these field recordings as a base, I will compose and create a piece that pictures the nocturnal landscape of this area, combining the sonic worlds from train stations to the crashing and receding of waves. I am very excited for new experimental approaches that this project will lead me to!
