以下アーティストからのメッセージです。
「Within This Realm」は、糸島とその周辺で過ごした継続的な時間の中から生まれた作品群です。同じ場所に何度も足を運ぶことで、観察という行為が決して固定されたものではなく、文脈や記憶、そして自身の変化によって形づくられていることが明らかになりました。
本作は、自己と環境とのあいだの交渉を中心に据えています。自然を安定したもの、あるいは切り離された存在として提示するのではなく、内なる世界と外なる世界とのあいだに生まれる応答や交換の関係を映し出しています。
それぞれの作品は次の作品へと影響を与え合いながら、絶えず変化し続けるシリーズを形成しています。本作品群は、振り返りや再訪、そして知覚の微細な変化によってかたちづくられ、開かれた状態のまま在り続けています。
Within This Realm is a body of work that emerged from sustained time in Itoshima and its surroundings. Returning to the same places made clear that observation is never fixed; it is shaped by context, memory, and personal change.
The work centres on the negotiation between self and environment. Rather than presenting nature as stable or separate, it reflects an exchange between inner and outer worlds.
Each piece informs the next, forming a continually evolving series. The work remains open, shaped by reflection, return, and subtle shifts in perception.
