滞在中のアーティストEduard Klena Jrを紹介します。
2020年にブラチスラヴァ美術アカデミーにて「グラフィックおよびその他のメディア」分野の修士号を取得。2017年には韓国・ソウルの淑明女子大学（Sookmyung University）にて、西洋絵画およびデジタル制作を専攻し、1年間の学士インターンシップを修了しました。
2021年から2025年にかけて、スロバキアにおけるノンプロフェッショナル・アート（アマチュア芸術）の運営および方法論に従事。また2021年から現在に至るまで、フリーランスの美術キュレーターとして活動し、「女性に対する暴力撤廃のための16日間アクティビズム」プロジェクトにおいてチーフキュレーターを務めています。
彼の作品は、不平等、疎外、恐怖、不安、社会不安、根無し草の状態、いじめといった社会的テーマを、トランスメディア的に扱っています。
制作においては「骨まで削ぎ落とす」ような抽象性と脱美学化（ディエステティシズム）を用いながら、サイトスペシフィック性、没入性、そして一回性（再現不可能性）をあらゆる展示プロジェクトにおいて体現しています。しかしそれらは、カタルシスへと収束するものではありません。
In 2020, he completed his master’s degree in Graphics and Other Media at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava, and in 2017, he completed a one-year bachelor’s internship in Seoul, South Korea – Sookmyung University, in the field of Western painting and digital creation.
From 2021 to 2025, he devoted himself to the management and methodology of non-professional art in Slovakia. From 2021 to the present, he also began to work as a freelance curator of fine arts and the chief curator in the 16 Days of Activism Against Violence Against Women project.
In his work, he transmedially processes social themes such as inequality, alienation, fear, anxiety, unrest, uprooting, bullying. He uses abstraction “to the bone” and deaestheticization, while the character of site-specific, immersion and unrepeatability is manifested through all exhibition projects, which, however, do not result in catharsis.
