Announcing Ruby Silvious’s Exhibition “Reinterpreting Tradition 伝統の再解釈”

We are happy to announce Reinterpreting Tradition 伝統の再解釈, an exhibition by Ruby Silvious, as a result of her activity during her stay at Studio Kura.

Ruby Silvious is a visual artist and graphic designer based in New York. For the past three years, she has been experimenting with found objects and salvaged materials, and most recently, painting on used, emptied-out tea bags functioning as small canvases.
Last year, her visual journal titled, 363 Days of Tea, went viral and continues to be featured in blogs and magazines across Europe, Asia and Africa.
