We are happy to announce Landscape Geometry, an exhibition by Emilie Lang, as a result of her activity during her stay at Studio Kura.
Emilie Lang is a self-taught visual artist based in Adelaide Australia. She paints landscapes with acrylic. She attended artist residency at Reykjavick Iceland in 2015. She started drawing in her diary when she was child, started painting in 2013.
In her work, she converts the visual perception of landscapes and its colour both in motion and at rest . The resulting of imagery become a form of abstract.
Here are some words from the artist herself.
Inspired by the lush green fields in Itoshima, my paintings are created with geometric lines and shapes using a summer palette.
