Studio Kuraでは、エストニア出身のアーティストTuulike Kivestuさんの最新作「空飛ぶ喜び」の絵本イラストレーションを展示いたします。Tuulikeが1ヶ月の滞在期間中に制作したものです。入場料は無料です。

2024年8月にエストニアで出版されるこの絵本は、エストニアの児童作家ヨハンナ・イーセベル・ヤルヴェリルによって書かれ、コーリブリ出版から刊行されます。
物語は、現代社会において誰もが忙しく、休息を取る時間や友達と過ごす時間が見つけられないというテーマを描いています。主人公の小さなカブトムシは、旅の途中で凧、ハチ、ハト、ドローン、スズメバチと出会い、最終的に一緒に遊ぶ友達を欲しがっている黄色い風船に出会います。
本展では、絵本「空飛ぶ喜び」の美しいイラストレーションが展示され、Tuulike Kivestuさんの繊細で色彩豊かな世界観を楽しむことができます。是非ご来場いただき、子供たちの想像力を刺激する素晴らしい作品をお楽しみください。

The book, which will be published in Estonia in August 2024, is written by Estonian children’s writer Johanna-Iisebel Järvelill and will be published by Koolibri Publishing House.
The story portrays a theme that resonates with modern society, where everyone is always very busy and often struggles to find time to rest and spend with friends. The main character, a little beetle, embarks on a journey where he meets a kite, a bee, a pigeon, a drone, and a wasp. Ultimately, he encounters a yellow balloon who also longs for a friend to play with.
This exhibition will showcase the exquisite illustrations from “The Joy of Flying,” allowing visitors to immerse themselves in Tuulike Kivestu’s delicate and vibrant world. We warmly invite you to join us and experience these wonderful works that inspire the imagination of children.
