Léa Doneux（レア・ドヌー）は、パリ第1大学パンテオン＝ソルボンヌ校（美術学科）の修士課程最終学年に在籍する美術作家です。彼女の絵画実践は、キャンバスの表面において風景が徐々に現れ、また消えていくプロセスを探求しています。
浮遊するような雰囲気や輪郭の定まらない空間を通して、彼女は夢の美的側面や、可視性が不確かになる「イメージのあわい」の状態に関心を寄せています。完全に立ち現れるわけでも、すでに消え去っているわけでもない――そのようなイメージの宙づりの状態は、空間を霧のように、拡散し、絶えず変化する環境として捉えることを可能にします。
また、このアプローチを通じて、彼女は絵画が持つ時間の広がりと向き合い、鑑賞者にゆっくりと、持続的にイメージと向き合う知覚体験へと誘います。
Léa Doneux is a final-year Master’s student in Fine Arts at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University. Her painting practice explores the gradual appearance and disappearance of landscape across the surface of the canvas.
Through floating atmospheres and indeterminate spaces, she is interested in the aesthetic dimension of dreams and in the in-between states of the image, where the visible becomes uncertain. This suspension of the image—neither fully emerging nor already fading—allows her to conceive of space as a mist, a diffuse and shifting environment. She also finds in this approach a way to work with the extended temporalities of painting and to engage the viewer’s attention, inviting a slow and sustained perception of the image.
