Open Call for Fukuoka Art Book Fair 2026 Hello to all the artists who have stayed at Studio Kura, This is Saori. I hope you are all doing well. I have some exciting news to share. At the end of May, Studio Kura will be exhibiting at the Fukuoka Art Book Fair @fukuokaartbookfair for three days. Last year, a former artist-in-residence suggested that we apply, and we are happy to announce that we were selected! To celebrate this, we are looking for artists who would like to contribute work to be presented at our booth. In addition to art books, we can also sell stickers, cards, T-shirts, and small artworks. If you would like to participate, please send your works to Studio Kura by mid-May. Please note that since this is a community-based project, all sales will be treated as donations to support Studio Kura’s activities. In return, contributors will receive exhibition credit, and we will share photos from the event with you. Hiro is also currently building a new library, and the works we receive will be kept there as part of the Studio Kura artist collection. What do you think? If you feel like “That sounds great!” or “I’d love to participate,” we would be very happy to hear from you. With gratitude and best wishes, Saori。
