Jonathan Lass（ジョナサン・ラス）は、テルアビブを拠点とするグラフィックデザイナー兼ビジュアルアーティストです。ベルリン国際応用科学大学で学び、現在はミンシャール芸術学校でビジュアルコミュニケーション学位を取得中です。彼の実践は、グラフィックデザイン、タイポグラフィ、イラストレーション、映像表現を組み合わせ、スケートボードやストリートカルチャー、そして個人的な歴史から着想を得ています。
スタジオクラでの滞在中、ジョナサンはスケートボードの映像、収集したエフェメラ（短命な印刷物など）、音、ドローイングを素材に、九州の田舎での生活をビジュアルダイアリーとして記録します。それらをレイヤー化した映像作品やグラフィック的な表現へと展開し、「存在」「動き」「環境」といったテーマを探求します。
Jonathan Lass is a Tel Aviv based graphic designer and visual artist. He studied at Berlin International University of Applied Sciences and is completing his Visual Communication degree at Minshar School of Art. His practice combines graphic design, typography, illustration, and moving image, drawing from skateboarding, street culture, and personal histories.
At Studio Kura, Jonathan will develop a visual diary of rural Kyushu through skateboard clips, scanned ephemera, sound, and drawings, weaving them into layered video and more graphic content works that explore presence, movement, and environment.
