

ルーシー・パリス=パイパーは、オーストラリアのメルボルンを拠点とする作業療法士であり、アートセラピストの研修生です。もともとはアオテアロア/ニュージーランド出身で、文化的知見から深い影響を受け、その実践は素材や他者とのつながりを重視しています。
今回のレジデンシー・プロジェクトでは、日本での日々の多角的な探求を通じて、自身の旅とアーティストとしてのアイデンティティを形作っていきます。制作の過程で生まれる「痕跡」は振り返りの日記として機能し、日常に潜む特別な瞬間を捉える手がかりとなります。このアプローチは、日本語の日常(nichijou)の概念に導かれています。

Lucy’s residency project will focus on daily multimodal exploration to shape her journey through Japan and her evolving artist identity. Marks made will serve as a reflective diary, capturing the extraordinary within the ordinary, guided by the Japanese concept of 日常 (nichijou).
