Chris Rutter と Evelyn Bennettが1ヶ月の滞在期間中に制作した巨大なコラージュ作品を展示します。

私たちはイギリス出身のアーティストグループで、25年以上にわたって共に作品を制作しています。
私たちが手がけてきた作品は、大規模な公共アート、コラージュ、インスタレーション、彫刻的パフォーマンスピース＆サウンドスケープ、詩、版画、アーティストブックなど多岐にわたります。
Studio Kuraでの滞在中に、私たちは「Travelling Collage」という作品に取り組んでいます。これは、異なる場所で制作されるたびに新しい姿を取り入れて成長し続ける、大規模なコラージュです。新しいイメージは、コラージュの最後の層を上書きし、それぞれの繰り返しで成長します。
チューリッヒのリンマートハウスホテルで始まったこのプロジェクトは、ヘルン・ベイのデュシャン・フェスティバル、LV21のライトシップ、アイントホーフェンのコラジスタ・フェスティバル、そしてキプロス・カレッジ・オブ・アートでさまざまなバージョンが制作されてきました。
また、私たちは別の詩の挿絵入りの本にも取り組んでいます。

We are 2 collaborative artists from England who have worked
together for over 25 years.
We have made a variety of work from large-scale public art, collage,
installations, sculptural performance pieces & soundscapes, poetry,
print and artists books.
During our stay at Studio Kura we have been working on our
Travelling Collage. This is an evolving, large scale collage that is
created in a different form in different locations using imagery taken
from its last incarnation. The new imagery overlays the last layer of
the collage and grows with each iteration.
Starting life in the Limmathaus Hotel in Zurich, different versions
have been created at the Duchamp Festival in Herne Bay, the
Lightship LV21, the Collagistas Festival in Eindhoven and at Cyprus
College of Art.
We are also working on another book of illustrated poems.
