ブラジル出身のイラストレーター、Laís Machado（ラエス・マシャード）は美術を学び、アニメーションや書籍のために約7年間仕事を続けてきました。
彼女は、ガッシュ絵具、水彩、色鉛筆、あるいはデジタル描画を使い、小さな世界、孤独な人々、大きな冒険、そして強い友情を描くことに情熱を注いでいます。
想像の世界を創り出すことは、幼少期にとても静かで内気だった彼女にとって大きな支えとなっていました。アートは彼女が自分の感情を外の世界に表現する手段であり、これを通じて多くの異なる人々とつながることができました。
Studio Kuraでは、彼女自身の現実とは大きく異なる「本物の」世界を体験することを期待しています。
Laís Machado is an illustrator from Brazil who studied Fine Arts and has been working for animation and books for almost 7 years now.
Using guache paintings, watercolors, colored pencils or even drawing digitally, she’s passionated about telling stories about tiny worlds, lonely people, big adventures and intense friendships using her art.
Creating imaginary worlds has been her big company since she was a very quiet and shy little girl. Art has been her way of putting her feelings into the outside world and has connected her with many different people.
At Kura she expects to experience the real but so distant from her own reality world.
