こんにちは！私はパットです。マレーシアのボルネオ州サラワクで育ち、現在はシンガポールで働いています。3Dモーションデザイナーでありながら、イラストレーションにも手を出しています。以前は薬剤師として3年間働いていましたが、その後デザインへの興味を追求することに決めました。
もともと2Dイラストに興味があり、3Dアートワークに2D要素を混ぜることや、3D作品をより2D風に見せることに魅了されています。色彩やユーモラスなキャラクター、自然、ファンタジーの物語、食べ物が好きで、これらのテーマが私の個人作品にはよく登場します。特定のアートスタイルはなく、いろいろなスタイルを試してみるのが好きで、時にはそれらを組み合わせて上手くいくかどうか見ています。その結果は、喜びをもたらすこともあれば、驚かせることもあります。
Studio Kuraでの滞在中は、日常の周りの環境からインスピレーションを得て、自分のために創作する楽しさを再発見したいと思っています。
Hi! I am Pat. I grew up in Sarawak, the Borneo state of Malaysia but am currently working in Singapore. I am a 3d motion designer who dabbles in illustration. Before this I was a pharmacist, but after practicing for 3 years, I decided to pursue my interest in design.
I have always been interested in 2d illustrations and am intrigued by the idea of mixing 3d artworks with 2d elements.Or making 3d artworks appear more 2d. I like colours, whimsical characters, nature, fantasy stories and food. These themes tend to appear in my personal art quite a bit. I don’t have a particular art style, I like trying a bit of everything and sometimes combining them to see if it works. The results of which can both delight and horrify.
During my stay In Studio Kura I hope to be inspired by my everyday surroundings and rediscover the joy of creating for myself again.
